Point System Basics

Prize Pool & Distribution

How Winnings are Calculated

The total amount collected from entry fees (Total Entries * Entry Fee = X) for a contest forms the basis for prize distribution.

  • Platform Commission (Y): 40% of the total entry fees collected (X) is GameYoddha's commission. (Formula: `Y = X * 40%`)
  • Total Prize Pool (Z): The remaining 60% of the total entry fees collected (X) is allocated to the prize pool. (Formula: `Z = X * 60%`)

This Total Prize Pool (Z) is then distributed among winners based on the following pre-defined slab system:

  • Slab 1 (Rank 1): Receives 8% of Z. (Distributed to a single user)
  • Slab 2 (Rank 2): Receives 5% of Z. (Distributed to a single user)
  • Slab 3 (Rank 3): Receives 3% of Z. (Distributed to a single user)
  • Slab 4 (e.g., Ranks 4-10): Receives 7% of Z.
  • Slab 5 (e.g., Ranks 11-25): Receives 10% of Z.
  • Slab 6 (e.g., Ranks 26-100): Receives 17% of Z.
  • Slab 7 (e.g., Ranks 101-300): Receives 25% of Z.
  • Slab 8 (e.g., Ranks 301-600): Receives 20% of Z.
  • Slab 9 (e.g., Ranks 601-1000 in a 1000 participant contest): Receives 5% of Z.

For Slabs 4 through 9, the prize money allocated to each slab is distributed among a percentage of participants who fall into those rank ranges. The system automatically determines the number of winners in each of these slabs based on the total number of participants in the contest and the slab's allocated percentage of the prize pool. Our tagline, "Jeet Ki Guarantee – Sabko Milega Kuchh Na Kuchh," means that in many contests, especially those with larger participation and this tiered distribution, a very high percentage of users will win some prize.

The exact prize distribution details, including the number of winners per slab and the specific prize amount for each rank or rank range, are provided on each specific contest's detail page before you join. Always check the contest details for the most accurate information.
