Users can participate in contests by paying an entry fee from their GameYoddha wallet and compete for prizes based on the performance of their selected virtual teams in real-world matches, or their knowledge in quizzes. Our platform aims to enhance users' general knowledge and strategic skills.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any other rules or policies applicable to specific contests or features. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of such changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Eligibility, Account Registration & Verification
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and participate in cash contests on the Platform. You must be a resident of India.
Restricted States: Due to state-specific legal restrictions on skill-based real money gaming, users from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Telangana are prohibited from participating in any cash contests on the Platform. If a user is found to be a resident of these states and participating in cash contests, their account may be suspended or terminated, and any winnings may be forfeited.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. This includes, but is not limited to, your username, email address, mobile number, and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
To participate in cash contests and withdraw winnings, you must complete our Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. This requires submitting documents such as:
- Proof of Identity (e.g., PAN Card, Aadhar Card).
- Proof of Address (e.g., Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, Utility Bill).

Contest Rules and Format
All games on the Platform are games of skill. The outcome depends significantly on your knowledge of the sports, player statistics, current form, match conditions, attention to detail, and strategic team selection for fantasy games, or general knowledge for quizzes. The Platform offers various contest formats, including but not limited to, public contests, private contests, head-to-head contests, and multi-winner contests. Each contest will have specific rules regarding entry fee, maximum participants (spot), team size, player selection criteria (e.g., number of batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders for cricket), and prize distribution, which will be clearly displayed on the contest detail page. Entry fees for single game contests will be one of the pre-set values (e.g., ₹10, ₹19, ₹49, ₹99), and the prize pool will be determined based on the number of participants and the entry fee, as detailed in the "Winnings & Distribution" section. You agree to abide by all game rules and community guidelines.
Winnings & General Rules for Distribution
Winnings are determined by the rank of your team in a contest, based on the points accumulated as per the official scoring system for that sport. GameYoddha is committed to transparency in how contest prize pools are determined and distributed.
The process for determining the prize pool and its distribution is as follows:
- Let 'X' be the total amount collected from entry fees for a specific contest (Calculated as: Total Number of Entries * Entry Fee per User = X).
- GameYoddha's platform commission ('Y') is 40% of 'X'. (Formula: Y = X * 40%)
- The Total Prize Pool ('Z') available for distribution to winners is 60% of 'X'. (Formula: Z = X * 60%)
This Total Prize Pool (Z) is then distributed among winners based on the following 9-slab system. The rank ranges for Slabs 4-9 are dynamic and depend on the total number of participants (N) in the contest:
- Slab 1 (Rank 1): Receives 8% of Z. (Distributed to a single user)
- Slab 2 (Rank 2): Receives 5% of Z. (Distributed to a single user)
- Slab 3 (Rank 3): Receives 3% of Z. (Distributed to a single user)
- Slab 4 (Ranks from 4 up to approximately the top 1% of total participants): Receives 7% of Z.
- Slab 5 (Ranks from the end of Slab 4 up to approximately the top 2.5% of total participants): Receives 10% of Z.
- Slab 6 (Ranks from the end of Slab 5 up to approximately the top 10% of total participants): Receives 17% of Z.
- Slab 7 (Ranks from the end of Slab 6 up to approximately the top 30% of total participants): Receives 25% of Z.
- Slab 8 (Ranks from the end of Slab 7 up to approximately the top 60% of total participants): Receives 20% of Z.
- Slab 9 (Ranks from the end of Slab 8 up to the remaining participants, i.e., up to 100% of total participants): Receives 5% of Z.
For Slabs 4 through 9, the prize money allocated to each slab is distributed among the participants whose ranks fall within those dynamically calculated ranges. The system automatically determines the number of winners in each of these slabs. Our tagline, "Jeet Ki Guarantee – Sabko Milega Kuchh Na Kuchh," reflects our commitment that in many contests, particularly those with larger participation and this tiered distribution, a very high percentage of users will win some prize. GameYoddha strives to ensure a rewarding experience for all participants through this transparent distribution model.
The exact prize distribution details, including the number of winners per slab and the specific prize amount for each rank or rank range, are provided on each specific contest's detail page before you join. Always check the contest details for the most accurate information. GameYoddha reserves the right to adjust the prize distribution structure for different contests. In case of a tie in ranks, the prize money for those ranks will be equally distributed among the tied users.

These points are used to determine player scores in contests and are applied based on live match performance and official data provided by our third-party data providers. For any discrepancies or clarifications, the point system detailed on the specific contest page at the time of joining will be considered final. Verification of Winners
Winners will be determined based on the final scores and ranks at the conclusion of a contest. All winners are subject to KYC verification and compliance with these Terms. GameYoddha reserves the right to disqualify any winner if fraudulent activity or violation of terms is detected. Winnings will be credited to the user's GameYoddha wallet, specifically to their Winnings Balance.
GameYoddha Wallet, Deposits, Payments & Withdrawals
- Deposited Balance: Funds added by the user through payment gateways.
- Bonus Balance (GameYoddha Coins): Promotional credits earned through activities like Refer & Earn, Sports Quiz, Spin & Win, or other offers. These are non-withdrawable and subject to usage policies (see "GameYoddha Coins" section).
- Winnings Balance: Money won from contests, after deduction of applicable TDS. This balance is withdrawable subject to policy.
Users pay contest entry fees from their total playable wallet balance (Deposited + Bonus + Winnings, with system potentially prioritizing Bonus as per promo terms). Winnings are credited to the Winnings Balance.
Deposits: Users can add funds to their Deposited Balance using various payment methods available on the Platform (e.g., UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards). All transactions are conducted in Indian Rupees (INR). We use secure payment gateways.
Pre-designated Amount Payment (Contest Entry): Entry fees for contests are deducted from your total playable GameYoddha wallet balance. The system may prioritize using Bonus Balance as per applicable promotional terms before deducting from Deposited or Winnings Balance. Entry fees typically are ₹10, ₹19, ₹49, or ₹99 for single game contests.
Withdrawal Processing: The minimum withdrawal amount from your Winnings Balance is ₹100 (One Hundred Indian Rupees). Withdrawal requests are processed subject to successful KYC verification and compliance with our withdrawal policy. Processing times may vary (typically 3-5 business days) depending on bank processing cycles. Withdrawals will be made to the verified bank account linked to your GameYoddha profile. Deposited amounts are generally not withdrawable unless specified under exceptional circumstances and at GameYoddha's discretion; they are intended for playing contests.
- Discount Offered/Bonus Balance: These are promotional amounts credited to your Bonus Balance (as GameYoddha Coins) that can be used to join cash contests, subject to specific terms of the promotion (e.g., a certain percentage of the entry fee can be paid using bonus cash). Bonus amounts are non-withdrawable and typically have an expiry date.
- Discount Coupon: Coupons may provide a discount on entry fees or other benefits. Usage is subject to coupon-specific terms and validity.
Taxes Payable (GST & TDS)
Goods and Services Tax (GST): GST as applicable by Indian law will be levied on the platform commission component of the entry fee for cash contests. The entry fee displayed for contests is typically inclusive of such applicable GST. Users are advised that GST regulations are subject to change, and GameYoddha will comply with the prevailing GST laws. (Example: If total entry fee is ₹100, and platform commission is 40% (₹40), GST would apply to this ₹40 portion.)
Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) - Section 194BA Compliance:
In compliance with Section 194BA of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (applicable from July 1, 2023), GameYoddha will deduct Tax at Source (TDS) at the rate of 30% on a User’s ‘Net Winnings’ from online games on the Platform.
Calculation of Net Winnings: ‘Net Winnings’ for TDS purposes in a financial year are calculated as:Net Winnings = (Total Withdrawals in Financial Year) – (Total Deposits in Financial Year + Total Entry Fees Paid in Financial Year + Opening Winnings Balance at the start of Financial Year (if any))
This calculation considers all transactions within the financial year (April 1st to March 31st). Non-monetary bonuses or GameYoddha Coins are generally not included in 'Total Deposits' for this calculation unless specified otherwise by tax authorities.
TDS Threshold: TDS will be applicable and deducted if your cumulative Net Winnings in a financial year exceed ₹10,000. GameYoddha is responsible for tracking these Net Winnings and deducting TDS once this threshold is breached.
TDS Deduction Process:
- TDS will be deducted at the time of withdrawal if your Net Winnings (inclusive of the withdrawal amount) exceed ₹10,000.
- If your Net Winnings cross ₹10,000 during gameplay (without a withdrawal), TDS may be deducted from your Winnings Balance.
- At the end of the financial year (March 31st), if your Net Winnings have crossed the threshold and TDS is applicable but not fully deducted, it will be deducted from your remaining wallet balance (Winnings, then Deposited if necessary).
Recovery of TDS Due:
- If you have made withdrawals before your cumulative Net Winnings crossed the ₹10,000 threshold (and thus no TDS was deducted at those times), and subsequently your Net Winnings do cross the threshold, the applicable TDS amount will be calculated and become "TDS Due."
- This "TDS Due" amount will be recovered from your subsequent winnings credited to your Winnings Balance or from any future withdrawal requests.
- The Platform may display a "TDS Due: ₹XXXX" message in your account if such a situation arises.
- GameYoddha reserves the right to block future withdrawals if there is an outstanding "TDS Due" and insufficient balance in your Winnings or Deposited Balance to cover it, until the TDS amount is recovered.
PAN Requirement: It is mandatory to provide your valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) for TDS compliance. If PAN is not provided or is invalid, TDS may be deducted at a higher rate as per applicable tax laws.
TDS Certificates: GameYoddha will provide TDS certificates (Form 16A) to users for whom TDS has been deducted, as per statutory timelines. It is your responsibility to file your income tax returns and report your winnings and TDS details accurately.
Tax laws are subject to change, and GameYoddha will adhere to the regulations applicable at the time of deduction. Users are advised to consult their tax advisors for any clarifications.
Refunds
Entry fees for contests are generally non-refundable once a contest has commenced. However, in cases of contest cancellation by GameYoddha due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., match abandonment without a result as per official sources), entry fees will be refunded to users' GameYoddha wallets, typically to the original balance type used for entry. Refund policies for specific scenarios will be detailed on the contest page or communicated to users. Funds deposited into the GameYoddha wallet which have not been used for contest entry are generally not eligible for direct withdrawal or refund unless specified otherwise under exceptional circumstances and at GameYoddha's sole discretion; they are intended for participation in contests.
Compliance with Applicable Law
You agree to use the Platform in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for determining the legality of participating in online skill-based games in your jurisdiction.
Violation of Platform Terms & Termination
Any fraudulent activity, including but not limited to, use of unauthorized software, bots, multiple accounts, collusion, or providing false KYC information, will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of any winnings or wallet balance, and potential legal action. GameYoddha reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for any violation of these Terms or any other reason deemed appropriate by GameYoddha to protect the integrity of the Platform and its users. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
Responsible Play
GameYoddha is committed to promoting responsible gaming. We encourage users to play for entertainment and within their means. We provide features such as setting deposit limits (via Settings page, currently a mock action) and self-exclusion options (to be implemented). If you feel you may have a gaming problem, we advise you to seek help. Users under 18 are strictly prohibited from using the platform.
Additional Features
Communication Features: The Platform may offer features such as announcements or system messages. Any user-to-user communication features, if implemented in the future, must adhere to our Community Guidelines. Abusive or inappropriate communication will not be tolerated.
- GameYoddha Coins are a virtual currency within the platform credited to your Bonus Balance, earned through promotions (like Refer & Earn, Sports Quiz, Spin & Win) or other activities.
- Current Valuation: 1,000 Coins = ₹20 for contest entry (this valuation is subject to change by GameYoddha).
- Usage: Coins can be used to enter contests, subject to specific contest rules (e.g., a certain portion of the entry fee might be payable by coins). A minimum balance of 1,000 coins is typically required to use them for contest entries.
- Non-Withdrawable & Non-Transferable: GameYoddha Coins cannot be withdrawn as cash and are non-transferable between users. They have no monetary value outside the GameYoddha platform.
- Expiry: Coins may have an expiry period, which will be communicated at the time of awarding.

Breach of Terms
Failure to comply with any of these Terms may result in actions including, but not limited to, issuance of a warning, temporary suspension of your account, permanent termination of your account, forfeiture of winnings, and legal proceedings if necessary. GameYoddha's decision in such matters will be final and binding.
Our Rights and Obligations
GameYoddha reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss incurred due to such modifications or unavailability. We will endeavor to provide a fair and secure gaming environment. We are obligated to comply with applicable laws and regulations governing online skill gaming in India.

Standard Terms & Conditions of Promotions
GameYoddha may, from time to time, offer promotions, bonuses, and offers. All such promotions are subject to these general Terms and Conditions, as well as specific terms and conditions applicable to each promotion, which will be communicated at the time of the offer.
Invite Friend Programme (Refer & Earn):
- Users ("Referrers") can invite new users ("Referees") to join GameYoddha using a unique referral code/link.
- A "successful referral" typically occurs when a Referee registers using the Referrer's code/link, completes their KYC verification, and participates in their first cash contest on the Platform. Specific criteria for a successful referral may be detailed in the ongoing referral program terms.
- Upon a successful referral, the Referrer will receive a referral bonus, currently 1,000 GameYoddha Coins (credited to their Bonus Balance, valued at ₹20 for contest entry, based on 1,000 Coins = ₹20). The Referee may also receive a joining bonus as per the prevailing offer.
- Referral bonuses (GameYoddha Coins) are credited to the user's GameYoddha Bonus Balance and can only be used to enter contests on the Platform. They cannot be withdrawn as cash.
- A minimum balance of 1,000 coins is generally required to use them for contest entries.
- There may be a limit on the number of referrals or total bonus that can be earned, as specified in the program details.
- GameYoddha reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the Invite Friend Programme or its terms at any time without prior notice.
- Any fraudulent activity, abuse of the referral system (e.g., creating fake accounts), or violation of terms will lead to disqualification from the program, forfeiture of bonuses, and potential account action.
Sports Quiz:
- Any registered user can participate in the Sports Quiz. No prior gameplay in fantasy contests is required.
- Users can attempt the quiz up to 5 times per day. Each quiz attempt consists of 10 sports-related questions.
- Users have 15 seconds to answer each question.
- For each correct answer, the user earns 1 GameYoddha Coin.
- Coins earned from the Sports Quiz are credited to the user's Bonus Balance and are subject to the general GameYoddha Coin policies (1,000 Coins = ₹20 for contest entry, usable for playing games, non-withdrawable, minimum 1,000 coins to use).
- GameYoddha reserves the right to change the number of attempts, questions per quiz, coins per correct answer, or the quiz content at any time.
- Quiz questions and answers are provided for entertainment and knowledge enhancement; GameYoddha makes no warranty as to their accuracy.
Spin & Win:
- Registered users may be eligible for one free spin per day on the Spin & Win feature.
- Prizes on the Spin & Win wheel may include various amounts of GameYoddha Coins or "Better Luck Next Time" type outcomes.
- Any GameYoddha Coins won are credited to the user's Bonus Balance and are subject to general GameYoddha Coin policies (1,000 Coins = ₹20 for contest entry, usable for playing games, non-withdrawable, minimum 1,000 coins to use).
